Bear Woods Photography
Great Smoky Mountains Fall Instructional Fieldtrip
October 30 - November 1, 2009
Special Club Pricing for this event: $129
See the Great Smoky Mountains in all of their splendor. Photograph roads with old trees overhanging in the fog, whitetail deer in fields, cascading rivers and old barns with vivid fall colors as backdrops. Photograph incredible sunrises and sunsets while capturing layers of mountains in the foreground.
Workshop sessions will include lessons on exposure, lighting, composition, and digital workflow. We will also have sessions dealing with HDR images. Learn to shoot for HDR and how to work with software to create HDR images to enhance the look of your image. Critiques will be given while the locations are fresh in your mind.
We will have special discussions on using Lensbaby lenses in landscape photography.
David will be joined by acclaimed photographers Marvin Price and Rob LeRoux who will offer additional instruction and perspectives on photography. Marvin has been photographing professionally for over 20 years and is a very personable instructor. Rob is a photography enthusiast who is known for his unique compositions. Rob also specializes in lightweight travel images who often travels and photographs with nothing more than a "point and shoot" camera. Having Marvin and Rob along will increase the opportunities for field critiques and learning.
